Hope everyone is doing well!
There are two things:
1.im going to put out a survey monkey so we can find a date a time to put a practice together as a team. It's not very expensive and it's a lot of help. Jeff will be leading it, he has some drills and techniques we can work on that will help a lot.
2. Jeff sent me some info about positioning that is really simple but great to help understand where to be. It helped me understand a great amount and I know it will help you. I'm going to put his message below so please take some time to go over it:
"I am attaching 2 links to YouTube videos on offensive and defensive zone positioning that at first glance you might find overly simplistic but they really are great videos. And they’re not too long for those of you with short attention spans like me.
One thing to notice when you watch the video is that there should always be 2 of our players in the yellow zone whether the puck is in the offensive or defensive zone (one being a wing and the other being a defenseman). I extended the yellow box to the blue line (the one in the video only goes to high slot) so you can see how the defenseman would be included in the two.
